Since corona measures have been relaxed further, ARCHITECT@WORK Rotterdam will take place definitively on 16 and 17 September 2020. About two hundred exhibitors will present their innovations at the edition. There will also be various features focusing on the theme of 'future-proof', and Architectenweb will once again be organising the seminar programme.
The team has used the past weeks to adapt the ARCHITECT@WORK concept to make the exhibition floor a corona-safe environment for everyone, whilst at the same time preserving the experience - with the atmospheric lighting plan, the unique stand concept, the extensive, free catering. A@W is ready for this.
What changes have been implemented? The most visible changes are the extended opening hours, which are now from 10am to 7pm. In addition, the organisation asks visitors to pick a time slot when they wish to visit ARCHITECT@WORK.
ARCHITECT@WORK is, of course, also a place where people often shake hands. This is not yet possible and it will take some getting used to, but everyone will enjoy seeing each other again - at a safe distance. Personal contact is not just human but also important. For architects it is crucial to be able to see a new product. They want to have a real-life experience of the product and to be able to discuss it with the manufacturer or distributor.
In order to make it even easier to make contacts, ARCHITECT@WORK is launching the possibility of booking an (online) meeting at A@W or elsewhere via the app A@W Digital. Even if it isn’t possible to visit ARCHITECT@WORK, the prescriber can still make new contacts.
